"Hello Airen!" chirped Shampoo, "Is present for Shampoo?"
"So you're going out to by presents for your little girlfriend!" spat Akane.
"That ain't it!" protested Ranma from his position on the sidewalk.
"What you trying to say?" asked the Amazon.
"It is quite obvious," intoned an arriving Kuno, "that the foul sorcerer Saotome has purchase a gift for the fair Akane in an attempt to fool her into believing that he is not the creature that he is."
"What?" snarled Mousse as he dropped into the group, "You mean that my Shampoo is not worthy of a present Saotome?!"
"Why would my Ranma-darling buy that barbarian anything when he could give his gift to someone far more deserving. Such as myself," commented Kodachi as she appeared in a swirl of flowers.
"Ranma! How dare you give gifts to these other girls when Akane is standing right there!" barked an onrushing Ryouga.
"Hey Ranchan," called out Ukyo from where she had been passing by, "What's this about you and giving a gift?"
By this time Ranma was throughly freaking out, and he was pretty sure that sticking around would mean that he'd get beat up real quickly. So, he decided that discretion would be the better part of valor.
Which meant running like heck. He yelled, "I'm outta here," and took off for the nearest rooftop to start hopping for his destination, which was:
