Finally having washed himself and sunk into the furo, Ranma finally had a break of the near insanity that would have destroyed Kasumi’s book. Sure, he could here voices from around the house, but he couldn’t make them out and made a point blocking them out anyway. He wasn’t too sure about what the book’s title was, it was medical in nature and something about art, but he was doing thinks in the action before though mentality he normally did things. Get in, get the book, buy, wrap, leave, give to Kasumi. The leaving part was almost blown to hell with the sudden appearance of the Nermia Wrecking Crew, but he had managed it, delivered the gift before it’s destruction, and if the peck was any indication, Kasumi liked the gift very much.
Well, seeing as it WAS her birthday maybe he could do a few more good deeds. It wouldn’t make up for everything since he arrived, but it was a start.
And so without any immediate problems Ranma decided on a course of action he had rarely done before. A course of action Nabiki would scoff at, and Akane would never think him capable of.
He lowed himself neck deep into the water, and planned.
