"You want to be friends?" Multi asked hopefully.
"Of course. And it was so nice of you to bring her here, Ranma."
"Ah... well..," stammered the pigtailed boy with a blush. "But where will you sleep?"
The android shook her head. "But I don't need to sleep."
"You don't?"
"No. I only need to recharge every so often."
"Hmmm... Still, you will have to have your own space."
"I don't really..."
"Everyone needs to have their own place. Besides, it wouldn't be nice not to do that."
"Thank you very much!" said Multi with a deep bow.
"Why, you're welcome. Now let's see... Where we set you up?"
"Wherever you want is fine."
"I know! You can stay with me."
"Are you sure that it won't bother you?"
"Oh no. It'll be just like a really long sleepover."
"I've never done one of those..."
The eldest Tendo daughter pursed her lips. "We'll have to get some things to make it ready. But first..."
"What?"
"We'll need to have a special dinner to celebrate our new arrival."
"Oooh, can I help?"
"But it's for you."
"I like to help, really. I don't mind, Kasumi-san."
"Well, if you want to..."
"Yeah!"
"Then let's see what we have in the kitchen..."
As the pair made their way happily to the kitchen, talking happily together, Ranma smiled as he watched them go. He'd done right for once. It looked like Kasumi and Multi were getting along great. The two of them seemed on the path to a quick friendship.
And then he turned to see a group of faces staring at him. "A-heh."
