Ranma didn't understand, but with djinni conjuring ingredients and Lyta and Makoto exchanging recipes and Minna and Minako talking music and the other friendships being forged - it didn't seem like a disaster in the making. Yet.
Poof! "Ah, there you are! Ranma Saotome, I am here to remove the Great Will that you were accidently given."
Ranma shrugged at the guy in the odd clothing. "Don't have it anymore. Care for a soda?"
Raphael was nonplussed momentarily when a quick scan showed him that Ranma did not have the Great Will anymore. There was only a faint tracerie of energies and it seemed more like the mechanism of some other application. "How did this happen?"
Ranma jerked his thumb at where the Sailor Senshi (with two exceptions) were eating snacks and sipping at drinks and mingling with the Djinni. "That's what happened."
"Two sets of Sailor Senshi?" Raphael took out his copy of the "Planewalker's Guide To The Multiverse" and began clicking away at it. "What? There's been a triharmonic phase shift!"
"Things kinda got outta control," Ranma explained. "Story of my life, really."
"So where's the Great Will?" Raphael asked, then looked at the second set of Senshi. "Oh, frak."
Ranma went on explaining how he'd wished he had fiancees as nice as the Senshi and had ended up with nine djinni.
Raphael looked at the nine djinni and knew where the Great Will Of The Universe had gone. It had expelled from Ranma's body and the vast majority of its power had crafted itself in these. Nine beings who were, in essence, Goddesses First Class. Instead of earrings to bind their powers, it was their binding to the boy - their Master Ranma - that allowed them access to those powers. Without him it was like having a really fast sportscar but you couldn't get it out of first gear. With him and his direction, the amount of power they could bring collectively to bear was incredible.
One on one, without Ranma, each Djinni was less powerful than the Eternal Level Senshi she duplicated. Together and in Ranma's service, they could turn the ginzuishou into cubic zirconium.
Serenity - Purification - Order - Healing.
Amia - Water - Knowledge
Rein - Fire - Intuition.
Lyta - Plants - Nurturer
Minna - Emotion - Stars
Harukha - Guardian - Land
Michi - Ocean - Art
Hotari - Weather - Space
Setsunia - Time - Cycles
"This complicates things quite a bit," said Raphael, gathering the wisps of power that remained unclaimed. "I expect the debate on this one will last quite some time."
Ranma shrugged. There was plenty of food, no hostilities (or at least very little of it), and something had changed about him but he wasn't sure what.
Unfortunately, nice situations are the most fragile and forces were already aligning to destroy Ranma's happiness.
