So Pierre slipped from the complex for the moment, and went to create something that would give them the challenge that they would need to go foward. It was likely to be defeated by them, but it would be something to knock them awake. And the best, and easiest way to do that would be to give them an enemy to fight against.
But it simply would not do to just give them a monster and be done with it. That would be silly. Pierre was an artist and nothing would satisfy him other than working his magic. Still, it would not do to create a masterpiece only to see it get destroyed, or damaged.
However, an artist such as himself was always having to experiment with new methods and materials to express himself properly. This would give him a chance to try out some things in some styles that he had been thinking about.
Some insect bits, a little bit of lizard and some mammal later, and he was finished. Looking upon his creation, he was feeling rather satisfied with himself. It was, how do you say... the perfect blend of M.C. Escher and H.R. Geiger. Only he could manage such magnificence for only an experiment.
Yes, zis would do very nicely. His creation was some of his best work, and he was sure that it would do what he had laid out for it very well indeed. All that would be left would be to send it out to face the heros!
