"Then you don't know that the existence of mutants has been revealed to the world?" Fury asked. Misato coughed in shock.
"What?" she snapped. "Magneto?"
"In a way," Fury said. "He drew the X-Men and the Brotherhood into a fight with Trask's pet project and set it to take place in public."
"Oi," Misato groaned. She looked around. "I gotta go, this kind news is going have Belldandy wanting to talk to everybody. Any word on Xavier yet, sir?"
"Not from this end," Fury said. "And I assume not from your end either. Keep your eye out for trouble there."
"Got it," Misato groaned as the communication disconnected and rubbed her head irritably.
Predictably the door was soon knocked on and Keiichi's voice called out. Misato sighed, he was probably just waiting politely for her to stop talking. It wasn't as if her position was all that secret any longer, but nobody had brought it out in the open yet.
"Misato, Belldandy wants to talk to everybody," Keiichi told her.
"Yeah, yeah," she muttered. "I'll be right there."
