After waiting a few minutes he smiled when the door opened and a blonde girl with blue eyes and her hair done up in round balls and long pigtails answered the door. "Oh hello." She looked confused for a moment as she looked at him. "Gomen, but you look familiar. I just can't place you."
He smiled at her. "Maybe this will help." He jumped back on one leg and waved. "ORAH ORAH!"
The girl's eyes widened at that. She should have remembered what he looked like. The darker skin from being outside, the hair standing straight up, and the bandana around his forehead all gave him away. "UNCLE JOE!"
Joe Higashi chuckled and nodded at her. "How have you been bunny rabbit? Still hate carrots?"
Usagi giggled and opened the door. "Come in, come in. I'm sure mom will love to see you again."
Joe grimaced a bit as he entered the house and headed towards the kitchen. "She's not going to beat me up for not seeing her for so long is she?"
Usagi shrugged as she followed him after closing the door. "Hopefully not. I think mom mellowed out a bit."
The Kickboxer sweat dropped. 'Great... So instead of sending me into traction, she'll just beat me to a lumpy mess.' It was a weakness of his, he never could lift a finger against his baby sister.
The two entered the kitchen to face a purple haired housewife. "Usagi, who was at the..." She trailed off as she saw her elder brother. "JOE?! Is that you?!"
He smiled meekly at her. "Yeah, it's me. Sorry for not visiting you more often."
Ikkuko smiled and ran up to him, giving him a hug. "It's been so long oniichan. I missed you!"
Joe smiled, relieved that she hadn't brought out the frying pan on him, and hugged her back. "Me too imutochan, me too."
