Spirit of Vengance:Shinji: The Disk [Episode 44148]

"If only I was better."

After leaving a train that he had boarded, Shinji's attention was caught by something burning near a shrine. Curious, Shinji saw what appeared to be a disc surrounded by falmes lying on the ground. As he approached, the flames flickered out and died.

"Huh?"

Cautiously, Shinji reached out towards the disk. He felt no heat comming from it . With utmost cautione, he touched the disk with his index finger lightly, ready to jerk it away if the disk was hot.

"That's weird," Shinji said, as he picked up the disk. "This thing is cool. I wonder what it is."

Shinji shrugged and put the disk in his pocket. "It's probably nothing important."

• After the sun sets, Shinji becomes the Ghost Rider
• After Misato yells at Shinji for going AWOL, Shinji manifests as Ghost Rider.
• During the next Angel attack, Shinji becomes Ghost Rider much to everyone's fright
• Shinji becomes Ghost Rider a few minutes after he pickes up the disk
