Haruka can be a royal pain sometimes. Try to avoid being killed as much as possible.
Set Ranma up with one of the Senshi. It doesn't matter which one or if several. This gives you further ties to Ranma and his group, plus it can be amusing as all hell from the sidelines.
There's another benefit, but it would be telling too much.

Setsuna looked over the photos, the photo of herself pregnant, the baby photo, the... ?!
Setsuna stared. She was wearing a wedding ring? Visibly pregnant? Practically glowing? Here was another photo showing a sign where Meiou Fashions?!?! She got the whole "life outside the role of guardian" package?!!
Then and there, Sailor Pluto decided that if she got back to the past and Uranus and Neptune were taking aim at Ranma again - she was going to use the Time Key Staff and beat them both into the ground.
Then she found some indication of her husband's identity.
