Hank looked at his monitor for a moment and back to Rogue. “It just did.”
Rogue blinked. “It did?”
Beast nodded in affirmation. “Yes, it seems that you have a conscious control of your energy ‘output’.”
Rogue sighed and leaned back. “Thank god.”
Beast released her and helped her to her feet. “There is one last test I want to run.”
“What’s that?” asked Rogue.
A smile crept to Beast’s face. “The Danger Room.”
“Ah, crap!”

Rogue looked at the ceeling og hanks lab. After two hours in the danger room, she felt like she was going to die. Everything ached, and while she was not really that tuckered out, all she wanted to do was go upstairs and go back to sleep.
“Well Rogue, the preliminary results are in,” stated Beast.
“What are they?”
The mutant smiled and looked at the girl. “Your speed and agility has increased by about 400%, your reflexes by 600%, your strength by about 150%, your endurance seems to be connected to your bio-energy, when you used the training blaster you managed a 75-1 Hit/Miss Ratio, and it appears if your are beginning to show signs of telepathic and telekinetic ability. I recommend you speak with Vash and the Professor about you abilities.”
“So, these are my new powers I guess... Well, at least I can hold my own in a fight now without havin’ to steal the other guy’s.”
Beast looked at Rogue seriously, “Rogue, that is only scratching the surface. We have no idea the true limits of your new powers. They may be in place, or they may need more time to fully mature. Only way we will know is time, and asking Vash.”
Rouge sighed, and nodded. “Can I go now?”
Beast nodded. “I can’t see why not.”
Rogue jumped up and made her way to the door, headed for the showers then bed. “Danke! Danke!”
As she bolted out the door, beast wondered to himself. “German... must have picked it up from her brother.”
