"Game last night. We have the powers of our characters," Shinji got out. "And apparently the weaknesses."
Asuka growled and let go of Shinji. "We are going back to that shop. It is on the way to school."
Shinji just nodded and followed Asuka. They soon arrived at where they remembered the shop was.
"This can't be right," Asuka said, staring in disbelief.
Shinji looked around and saw all the other buildings were correct. "This is where it is supposed to be."
The two of them looked at where the Spell R Us store used to be. In its place was a store seeling toy monkeys. Wind up monkeys playing cymbals were in the front window. Hanging above them were marrionette monkeys. They could see through the window different sorts of toy monkeys. A song was being heard emenating from the store. That song had the same name as the store.
Yes. We Have No Bananas
Asuka clenched her fist and turned towards school. Taking one last glance at the store, Shinji followed her.
"That was not funny," Asuka muttered.

Maya had found an open backed swimsuit she could wear among her possesions. Finding a pair of jeans, she put them on as well.
"Nice that jeans use brass and copper for their zippers and snaps," Maya muttered to herself.
Maya opened the window of her apartment. Taking a deep breath she leaped out the window and felt the air currents around her. Opening her wings, she gained altitude and flew.
"I guess I can live with this."

At Seele's secret base, a package was brought into Lorenz Keele
"Sir, we found this at the front door," the messenger said. "There is no metal or electronics in it, so it can't be a bomb."
"Leave."
Keele looked at the package warily and opened it up. A choclate creme pie loaded on top of a plastic spring splatted him in the face. Using his left hand, he wiped the pie from his eyes and spotted a note. Keele used the paper wrapping the package to clean his face off and opened the note.
Keele,
I have no intention of becoming a pile of red goo just because you want to die. I have taken precautions to insure that chance drops dramatically. I told you I'd get you back. Knowing magic is fun isn't it?
Keel crumpled the note in his hand and growled. "I thought he was dead. What sort of lunacy has he got planned?"

The wizard relaxed in his new store in Texas and smiled.
"I want Keele to know what's going on. I only needed one hero to act as a catalyst. That's how it always happens in the books. One hero appear and the rest follow very rapidly."
"Heck, they've all been exposed to strange radiations and the one mutant I passed off as an abnormality caused by going through EVA-01."
The wizard laughed and took a swig of wine dated 1082.
