Toji made sure to be extra careful when he opened the door to his apartment. "Kensuke?" he asked, surprised that his friend was there.
Kensuke smiled. There was something... odd... about him, a sort of confidence he'd rarely possessed before. Not to mention the strange devise he was holding... "I thought so." he said as he entered.
"You thought so? Thought what? What's going on, Kensuke?"
Kensuke started setting the machine he'd brought up on the table. "Somehow, we seem to have become like the characters we played in the game last night. I've already spoken to Hikari, who contacted me with her mind! And, of course, my mind is working at speeds several times what I'm used to, I seem to be able to maintain no less than seven streams of thought simultaneously, and, of course, I can build things that should be impossible out of spare parts I had lying around."
Toji just sat down. "Please, tell me this is all just some kind of freaky dream!"
Kensuke paused and shook his head. "Sorry, pal. It's real, and unless we find some way to reverse it, we've got to deal with it. Now, go get some clothes."
"Huh?"
Kensuke waved at the devise. "This will be able to cobble together some clothes to fit you, but it needs some raw material to work with." Kensuke considered the increased size of his old friend. "I'd say bring at least three pairs of everything, and I'll get you something to wear for today, at least. We'll still have to find you a 'Big and Tall' store for a full wardrobe, but I can get you something for today."
"Great, not only don't my cloths fit, now I gotta wreak them too..." Toji grumbled as he left.
Meanwhile, Kensuke pulled out a spare phone he'd brought. As he'd guessed, Toji must have destroyed his earlier, before he got the hang of his new strength...
*CRASH!*
"DAMMIT!
Okay... maybe he hadn't yet gotten that far...
