Thus, while Ranma was pondering over the specifics of his new occupation, elsewhere, a certain realization was taking place.

"You did WHAT?!?!"
Striking a rather dramatic (and suggestive) pose, Urd smirked down at her little sister, reaching out and ruffling Skuld's hair in a slightly condescending manner. Of course, said hand was promptly removed after said sister produced said bomb.
"How could Father let you have an avatar?!" Skuld shrieked, her voice arching into octaves previously known only to hummingbirds and dogs.
Urd smirked. "Don't ask me. Father just called up a few minutes ago and told me I had an avatar. I guess I can kind of sense him, now that I think about it. He's partially tapping into my powers."
Skuld glared up at her older sister. "That's not what I meant! How could Kami-sama approve something like this?! Second Class Goddesses never get avatars, least of all Second Class Goddesses on probation! I mean, to think that you of all people would be granted a-"
"Careful, squirt," Urd growled.
Skuld blinked for a moment before sticking her tongue out and turning away in a huff.
Urd sighed. "Fine. Be that way. I just wanted to see if you wanted to come along, is all."
Her curiosity piqued, Skuld turned around and directed a questioning look at Urd. "What do you mean?"
Urd shrugged. "I just got an avatar. I was planning on going to meet him, that's all."
Skuld pondered over this information for a minute before directing a suspicious look at the older girl. "Why me? What about oneechan?"
'Uh oh,' Urd thought, 'Better not tell her that she's out on a date with Keiichi.' Directing a level look at her younger sister, Urd replied, "I can't. She's out right now." Skuld blinked and looked like she was going to press the issue for a moment, but to Urd's great relief, the trainee goddess just decided to take the excuse at face value.
"Fine," Skuld sighed, "So where is this guy?"
"Nerima," Urd chuckled nervously, surreptiously wiping a few drops of sweat off her brow.
Skuld blinked. "Really? I've heard some pretty strange things about that ward."
Urd shrugged. "No stranger than here."
"Point."

And so, while Ranma mused and two lesser goddesses prepared for adventures in party crashing, elsewhere someone else was making their own plans...
