After talking to Ranma Cologne was thinking very deeply in her room about this new side to Ranma. She did not know what to think of the young man now.
'I should probably keep an eye on him and observe his private training sessions.' She thought about that suggestion and finally decided to do it.
Over the next few months the Elder and Ranma trained in the arts and talked about a great many things. Over time Cologne had decided that this young man had the potential to be one of the greatest warriors the world had ever seen.
She saw how mature he really was and remarked about it. Ranma wanted everyone to think he was a brainless, chauvinistic jock only caring about the art. What Ranma did not know was that she had one of those mushrooms that would make her 20.
He asked why she fought. One question that he asked stood out above the rest.
"Cologne, when you were young and before you got mixed up in Amazon politics did you practice the art because you were an Amazon or did you truly love the art?" Cologne had thought long and hard about the answer to his question.
Over time she had found the answer. Yes, she did love the art and she wanted to regain the passion she had for the art. Also over time she, a woman of great age and experience, fell for the good, old Saotome charm.
What nobody knew was that she had one of the mushrooms that would make her younger. The age the mushroom would make her was 20. Leaving the Nekohanten one day she took the mushroom out of her secret box and ate it. For such a drastic change of age it was very painful and also very deadly but she lived. She had fainted from the pain.
The next thing she knew she woke up and felt her regained body. She quickly dressed and headed over to Ranma's private training spot. He had recognized her and was quite shocked at her new appearance. When she explained what happened and why she did it she expected to be rejected.
That didn't happen. What happened was this.
She felt his arms around her body gently hugging her and when she looked up to question why he had kissed her. A very passionate kiss. When the kiss ended she looked in his eyes with the question in her eyes.
He told her he had fallen for her when they went back in time and saw her there 300 years ago. He also told her that with all the magic around here she would probably be made younger due to something crazy happening.
Ranma and Cologne explained what happened to Ranma's mother and what they wanted to do. She gave the two her blessing and with her help straigtened out everything in Ranma's life. The two had married in a private ceremony and quickly flew out to a very private beach.
