Alright, seethed Metallia, this was it. To hell with this entire planet. She would make do with the death energy of this world and go and find another one.
Building up a final blast she prepared to attack the dragon. She knew full well that it wouldn't be enough to destroy him, but it would paralyse him long enough for her to finish the planet off. Nowhere near as satisfying as dealing with him in direct combat, but it would have to do.
"SAILOR PLANET ATTACK!!!"
Under normal cicumstances the combined power of the Senshi used in this attack would not have been enough to do more than irritate the Demon Goddess, but right now she had cocentrated so much of her power into her attack she had once again left herself vulnerable.
It was all that Slifer needed. With a flick of his will he hurtled towards the distracted monstrosity.
"WHAT?!?!?!?!?!" Metallia explained in suprise as the dragon pierced her fragile outer layer and entered the cloud of dark energies that made up her true core. The shock was then replaced with triumph. This was perfect, within the furnace of her power she would be able to not merely destroy the dragon, she could consume him and make his power her own.
"FOOLISH DRAGON, YOU HAVE SEALED YOUR OW FA-AAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!"
The goddesses gloating was broken off as she felt a growing burning within herself. Apower that was literally tearing her apart.
Deep within his foe Slifer released his battle aura. Purity met total corruption.
The two force met.
They battled.
One had to give.
With a horrific keening that could be heard all around the world Metallia, Goddess of the Dark Kingdom and mother of all Youma, died.
