"What's the point in being a powerful wizard whose abilities rewrite reality if you can't indulge all your urges," said the Wizard with a shrug. "How many guy to bubble-brained oversexed girl transformations have I done in the past year?"
"Uhm, a lot," said Dani. "It's your specialty."
"How many college guys have become coke addict whores?" asked the Wizard.
"Quite a few," admitted Dani.
"How many couples turned to animals, couples turning against each other, couples eating each other, guys turned into lingerie?" asked the Wizard.
"Not as much as the other two but at least one every couple of days," allowed Dani.
"Right. You get my point?" The Wizard let out a deep breath. "If I don't do something different every so often, it gets OLD. I start feeling my age. Do you know how old I am?"
Dani shook her head. From the occasional comment she knew he was of a much younger age when the morals and principles were of a different cut than they were today.
"OLD!" said the Wizard. "I remember when the 2% solution was all the rage in London. Cocaine from the Opium Road. I remember when the Boxer Rebellion failed, and it was by MY hand that it failed. Martial artists with superhuman abilities might have been able to beat the gangsters and their hired troops - so I intervened. Who made the Roanoke colony disappear? Me. I've been around a long long time, Dani. Sometimes you have to break the monotony."
"But not only is she a cop, there's that -" pointed out Dani. The image in the television was heading towards the hangar, and the scene skimmed forward to what was waiting in the hangar.
"Hmmm. Maybe I went a little too far," admitted the Wizard.
