"W...w...What the heck..," she breathed.
"Heh... hi," he stammered.
Ranma fairly tumbled from him, and quickly slid away. "How did I..?! What is this?! Why is it?!"
"I... don't know."
"We couldn't have done THAT!"
"Uh... I think we did."
"Oh really?! You, the guy who passes out when he sees a pretty girl?!"
When she mentioned that, Ryouga realised that the whole time that he'd been awake, he hadn't fainted or anything. He'd had what was physically a pretty girl laying naked next to him, and he hadn't even had a trickle, and barely an ache. Which was odd and brought up several questions.
Nope, better to keep to his usual M.O. and push it to the back of his mind and not think on it for a very long time, if at all. "Hey, it isn't my fault!"
"Oh yeah!" she yelled, "You're the only one around, and the one who did... that ta me!"
"The last thing that I remember, I was walking into the Nekohaten for something to eat and some directions, and then I wake up with... you wrapped around me!"
"I was not! I wouldn't... MOUSSE!"
"What do you want to do your hair?"
"Not that! The Amazon!"
"Huh?"
The redhead glared at him. "I was headin' in ta get some hot water ta change back, when he comes flyin' outta nowhere and throws a bag at me and Shampoo. Next thing I know, I'm choking on some kind of dust and then I'm wakin' up to you!"
"What does that mean?"
"Don't ya get it? That dust musta been some Amazon secret or somethin' that did somethin' ta our minds."
"Which is why we did what we did!"
"Right. And that means that whatever that stuff is, the old ghoul has ta know somethin' about it!"
"So we just have to go and talk to her!"
"Yup," Ranma told him as she jumped to her feet, "So let's go!"
"ERK!"
"What is it?"
Ryouga just pointed at her. That confused the redhead until she looked down and realised that she hadn't gotten dressed yet.
"Oh brother," she said and yanked on her clothes. At the same time, she noticed him shake himself and start to dress himself. Though she did have to wonder why she hadn't really noticed, or reacted to it before. 'Probably just from the bath houses and that sort of thing,' she told herself.
After they both got dressed, and Ryouga repacked his pack, he turned to her and said, "I'm ready."
"Me too. So where are we any way?"
"I... I'm not sure. It looks familiar..."
"Everyplace looks familiar ta you. Let's get goin'," she told him and tugged on his arm to get him to start walking. He thought about protesting for a moment, but then decided against it.
So they started walking while:
