[Episode 47335] [Episode 47335]For the average person a Jusenkyo curse meant a permament curse. The absolute best they could hope for was a steady supply of hot water and that enough of their friends, family and or neighbors knew about the curse that they didn't mistake them for an animal and just cook em for dinner. For those truly unfortunate they never found out about reversing the curse with hot water and instead had to live their lives as some animal. Of course the last was an exception and not the general rule for the Jusenkyo Guide of Jusenkyo and the other Guides who lived close by were nothing if not dilligent in their duties.
But for those few unusual people who came to Jusenkyo on a semi-regular basis the curse didn't have to be permament. There were cures beyond the usual getting splashed with hot water. In fact there used to be hundreds if not thousands of different cures for such curses, yet with the passage of time much of that information was lost through death/war and odd circumstances until a handful of cures were left. Of those three existed in China while the other two lay in wait somewhere in the greater world. Of course not all of these cures could be used for the ones involving magic potions often more then not used ingredients that were either extremely rare and or extinct altogether. But a good percentage of unusual people found their own cures in time if they looked far enough and were patient enough.
And then there was Ranma. Every chance at getting a cure had been thwarted by some accident or battle or the outright stupidity of others. In fact it appeared more likely that one of his enemies would find a cure before he did and use it all up. The most likely candidate for that appeared to be Ryouga given his ability to wonder hundreds of miles in mere minutes and get into wierd places/situations without meaning to.
But that didn't mean there was no cure for Ranma, far from it in fact! As in this case the chaos that surrounded Ranma had actually been working in his favor all this time. But before an explanation is given one should understand that even those unusual people who were cursed in Jusenkyo rarely encountered magical artifacts of any power. But Ranma encountered artifacts of incredible power on a daily basis though most of these he just passed walking from home to school and back.
This wouldn't appear to be significant until one took into account the fact that Jusenkyo curses needed some time after the 'dunking/splashing' of their victims to fully stabilize usually ranging in the weeks. And almost two hours after getting splashed Ranma-chan was around several low/high power artifacts that the Amazons guarded. The presence of these magical aura's caused a series of ripples in the curses pattern matirx. That destabilized the curse a little bit, not to the point where it wouldn't still change Ranma but the change itself would take a few micro-seconds longer then usual.
In Nerima the various magical fields and entities caused yet more ripples in the curses pattern matrix. And finally the fights that Ranma got into with the likes of Herb, Toma, Saffron, the Seven Lucky Gods and other people/entities ensured that the curse would never completely stabilize.
All that was needed now to smash the curses pattern matrix was one little push to finish it off and 'lose' the form of the drowned girl.
That little push came as Ranma embraced his anger and every other negative emotion that he'd kept bottled up for so many years and used it to fuel his chi until its smoldering red aura covered his female form.
From there the chain reaction was instantaneous.

Akane jerked her head away as the breast she'd been pawing suddenly rippled, then much to her horror Ranma-chan seemed to fade away in a halo of red light until only Ranma remained.
Ranma was stronger then his female form and from the infusion of anger driven chi the alcohol in his body had been burned away leaving him quite sober. But that merely overshadowed the main fact.
RANMA WAS PISSED OFF!
