Zeus's ball: They're all in the fire now (LIME) [Episode 4795]

Akane’s heel caught on a raised edge of cement sidewalk, and she staggered. Her hands flew up in an attempt to regain her balance, and with them went the bucket of magic laced water. “Noooooooo,” Shampoo cried out, lunging forward, her eyes turned upward toward the slowly rotating container. She had to get to it before it flipped and spilled, wasting the magic. She slammed into Akane, and both girls shot backward, straight into Ukyou’s back. Ukyou gave a startled yell, that was cut off as she and Nabiki hit the barrier, Shampoo and Akane a fraction of a second later. Up above, the bucket also hit the barrier, and flashed through. The pinkish-reddish bubble of energy flickered, and then pulsed, once.

Cologne stared in shock at the new quiescent shield of energy. A small rock, flicked toward the pinkish wall in front of her bounced back.

“Baba, I’ve got the girls. What do you want them to do,” A voice asked from behind her.

Cologne sagged, and turned to face Mr. Aino, the local bar owner. Behind him a gaggle of gaudily dressed ladies of dubious virtue stared in curiosity at the dome of suddenly stable energy in front of them. Cologne gave a sigh, and said, “Pay them for their time, and tell them we won’t be needing them after all.” Ignoring, then, Cologne turned once more toward the barrier. She closed her eyes, and said a silent prayer for those on the other side, and then turned to leave.

“Baba, what are we to do?” Mr. Mirobishi asked.

“All we can do. We wait. You can tell everyone it’s safe to go back to their homes. Nothing more will happen till events inside run their course.”
