Desert Treasure: Past Memories [Episode 48143]

Vash looked at Roll and asked, "Why were you deactivated and put in storage?"

Roll closed her eyes, alook of emotional pain swept across her features.

Opening her eyse, Roll replied, "Another robotics expert, Dr. Wily had turned evil and had reprogrammed several robots for world domination. I was one of the very few he didn't reprogram. After a while, he built two robots called Bass and Treble. He was getting a bit disappointed in ProtoMan's preformance. Bass was a complete psycho. Because of him alone, an anti-robot sentiment started up."

Vash nodded. "I seem to recall something about a ban on robot making in the old stories."

Roll gave a short laugh and continued. "Well, it's true. MegaMan, Rush, and myself weren't really affected by it, due to our actions. However, Dr. Light felt that it might be in my best interest if I was sealed away with his knowledge. This was shortly after Bass broke into our home and attacked. I took some damage and was placed in that capsule to be repaired and stored until such time that the robot hatred had died down. Only my internal clock is broken right now, and I can fix that myself."

Vash nodded. "Makes sense. There is a problem. You hold a lot of information that many people would kill for."

Roll winced. "What do I do?"

Milly piped up, "Why don't you come with us? We'll keep your secret."

Roll nodded and scavanged through the capsule. She pulled out an odd device with a can attached to it. On the surface of the device was a screen of black, glassy panels.

Meryl asked, "What's that?"

Holding it up with a smile, Roll replied, "My food supply. The solar panels convert solar energy into a form that I can take into myself."
