"You packed, Mom?" Ailuros asked. Mihos merely urked.
"Of course I packed for you," Bast said. "Would a mother let her little babies go out in the world without being well prepared for whatever they might face?"
The two winged cats looked to their father, who tried to look away. Meanwhile Bast was dragging in a pair of...well...they appeared to be bags.
"Now you should have everything you need here," Bast said. "Meow mix, fluffy cushion, bed..."
"Err...Mom," Mihos said. "We couldn't lift that in BATTLE form."
Bast wasn't listening. "And some string, and kitty litter," both cats turned visibly embarrassed. "Make sure to clean it out regularly, oh and a jingly ball..." *jingle**jingle**jingle* "err...and canned tuna, and yarn, and more string, and a multi-phasic shift capacitating training and stress relief device..." it looked an awful lot like a hacky sack. "...and a rubber mouse...and ooooo...more yarrrrrn....aaaaaa...."
Horus shot his children a "run now while there's still time" look and they fervently took the message, leaving the heavenly plane and making a bee-line away from the mountain of a motherly care-package.
