After the initital surprise (and anger) from Britanny & Brianna upon seeing the Wererats (who hide behind Ranma as a shield), Theo & Ranma quickly explained why they were with them. Then a quick rundown over Seance's 'curse' was given (afterwords Genn promptly....vanished with Seance so no seeing them for a few hours) Theo removed the Doom Gaze from Brit & Bri, and an overview of the discussion with the Phoenix tribe concerning Gothwrain was given.
Afterwords, Theo pulled Julia aside for a private talk, while Ranma went outside for the rematch he promised Daishi. The girls of course went outside to watch, Romeo ran into Dao and was having a nice conversation of sorts with the D'jinn, and Stripe & Britanny were watching a movie in the living room.
Meanwhile in the study Julia smiled a VERY big grin. " Run that by me again Theo honey?"
Theo rolled his eyes, but did as requested. " Well Julia, you were right for the most part. Ranma was being somewhat tampered with by the spirit of Jusenkyo, which answers why my aura-scan failed earlier and I am sorry for doubting you before."
" Ahhhhhh sweet justice. I KNEW I wasn't going crazy eheheh." Julia said in a happy sing-song tone, basking in the glow of victory. Soon the V-signs went down and she was serious again. " So why WAS Jusenkyo tampering with Ranma?"
" Apparantly Ranma is Jusenkyo's current 'favorite' among the Jusenkyo cursed. After it sensed Ranma's transformation into a werecheetah it decided to give Ranma a purpose and more 'oomph' in his life as one could say."
" Speak english on the last part Theo."
" Jusenkyo is going to use Ranma as a tool to help get vegence on Gothwrain for destroying two of its Lycanthrope springs, and to help repopulate the werecheetah race, and as a personnal bonus for Ranma he gave him the guts to act on his affectons for those he holds them for."
" Repopulate.." Julia's eyes widened. " Does that mean Brianna and Archon are...?!" Her blood froze.
(AN: Julia has no knowledge of Brit & Gina's trysts with Ranma and for now that'll be how it shall remain.)
" No, Jusenkyo assured me none of the girls Ranma has slept with are pregnant.... yet. It wants to wait till Gothwrain is dead so there's no worry of a assassiantion planed by Gothwrain, or any other Wererat Elder that is as paranoid of werecats as Gothwrain." Theo told her calmly.
Julia sighed in relif. " Well that's a relief, so Ranma has been...on the horny side because Jusenkyo gave him more guts and confidence to act on his desires?"
" In a nut shell, and..well incidentally it asked me to tell you too..well 'back off' a tad." Theo replied nervously.
Julia simply glared.
" I suspected you wouldn't back off."
" No, I won't...I don't care if God himself decreed me to stand aside. I don't want Ranma messing up his or some poor girl's life....especially if its one of 'our' girls because his libido got the better of him." Julia said sternly.
" I won't argue with you there Julia, but...you just can't stop Ranma from being around the girls he has his own life to live, but he also has the free will to decide if he wants to mess it up or make it something." Theo retorted. " Brianna or Gina we have the power to put our foot down but those other girls are not our children and are old enough to make their own decsions."
" I KNOW Theo but...God dammit I 'love' Ranma as if he were my own child I don't like it some living sentience has plucked up Ranma as its tool!" Julia almost shouted. " Ranma hasn't exactly had many people to teach him aspects of life from all the right angles. Genma is a bastard and a fool, Nodoka bless her soul hasn't been in his life enough to make some solid impact, and with her nagging Ranma for grandkids or to 'test-out' his finacee's. Despite that confident and macho outside Ranma's frigile inside. I feel like Fate brought him into our lives so we could help him as he's helped us." Julia hungher head a bit and sighed sadly. "...I just don't want him messing up his life and making it crazier than it already is..."
Theo nodded, he felt the same way as Julia did. Ranma had made impacts on ALL the Diggers, the parents included. While Theo was a bit more loose about it than Julia he did hold a certain degree of protectiveness toward Ranma. He truely had wormed his way into the family. " Julia I completely sympathize with how you feel, but the fact of the matter is we can't totally interfer with his life no more than we can our own daughter's lives. He has to make his own choices and live with them...good or bad.."
" I know Theo...but it doens't mean I have to like them. I'll try and back off some, but if things get out of hand I'm going to China personally to kick Jusnekyo's watery ass!"
