Daishi looked at his rival. Sure he had to defeat Britanny Diggers and Ryan Talbot, but neither of them had learnt his Ki moves. "I hope you have improved since our last bout, otherwise it'll be an increadible bore to fight you Saotome."
Ranma just smirked, "I know I've improved, but how about you, did you get better or were you just sitting on your rear-end since our last fight?"
On the sidelines Brianna, Asrial, Archon, Tyr, Lydia and Moshia were watching the pre-fight banter. Archon turned to Brianna, "Where's Gar, Carla, Luan and Gina?"
Brianna hummed, "Gar, Carla, and Luan went out for a run or something, I'm not sure. And Gina's in her lab trying to find out where Uriel disappeared to with some Beta-tech."
Asrial turned to Lydia, "So how is it that you know Ranma?"
Lydia shrugged, "I #&^in' met him when he was a little #$%$in' kid."
Archon raised an eyebrow, "Must you always swear?"
Lydia blushed a bit, "Sorry, just a $#@&in' habit."
"Like, she always, you know, swears. It's, like, totally unusual to not hear Lydia swear."
Brianna shook her head, when her dad had removed the Doom Gaze from her, she didn't feel that different, the removal of that enchantment felt oddly pleasurable. "Hey I think that they're starting."
Indeed they were. Daishi nodded at Saotome, "Oh one more thing, I have learned a new move. Let's see if you can stand when I'm done with it."
Ranma just smirked, "Bring it on."
Daishi's whole body started glowing as he placed a hand on his sword. Ranma blinked, Daishi was going all out already? Ranma shook his head, didn't matter, he'd still beat Daishi. All of a sudden the glow quit. "Not yet, just had to get the Ki flows ready."
Ranma shook his head, "Whatever." He then charged the ninja, who leaped at him and the two exchanged a flurry of fast-placed blows. It was clear to Daishi that Saotome wasn't used to his new form or speed, his balance was a bit off, not to mention his timing. Fortunately Daishi was used to a werecheetah's speed.
Punch-duck-punch-parry-kick-block. This pattern continued for some time until Ranma overextended himself in a punch, just slightly, but it was enough for Daishi, who grabbed the arm and drew one hand back, palm facing Ranma, "Shinkuu" and threw his arm forward, palm facing up, index and middle fingers forward, thumb, ring and pinky fingers pointing up, "Gadoken!" A powerful, but short-range Ki blast went at Ranma's head at point-blank range.
"NO RANMA!" The girls cried out.
They didn't have to worry as Ranma had twisted his head at the last moment. Still, his clothes and shoulder were burnt pretty good. Ranma then kicked Daishi right in the stomache fairly hard.
As soon as Daishi felt the kick, he let go of Ranma's arm and moved with the kick to get more ground. "Impressive, you have indeed gotten better. Now I don't feel so bad using this next move."
"Yeah whatever." Ranma narrowed his eyes, 'I can't believe I let myself get caught off guard like that.'
He then rushed Daishi, who just stood there. As soon as Ranma got into range, Daishi jumped up and over Ranma. "This is it Saotome." His whole body started to glow and he reached for his sword. Ranma had stopped about forty feet away from Daishi. 'Damnit I keep letting myself fall for my new werecat instincts. Gotta keep a cool head.' He then charged Daishi, but this time he started gathering Ki into his right hand.
Daishi had both hands on his sword as he waited for Ranma to get close enough, he was glowing brightly with Ki. 'NOW!' He then pulled his sword out and slashed diagonally from right to left calling out the attack name, "S.S. Invincible!" When the strike was completed a wave of pure Ki traveled outwards towards Ranma hitting him, like someone had just sliced him, knocking him down and out of the way of the rest of the strike. The wave continued until it hit the outer wall, bringing a portion of the wall down.
The girls were shell-shocked, they had never seen a move like that before. Lydia and Moshia were definately shocked, they knew that Zero was a good fighter, but he had nothing on these two.
Ranma laid on the ground, apparently out cold. Daishi shook his head, "Perhaps if I had attacked when he was more ready, this would've been a more fair fight." He put his sword away, when suddenly Ranma jumped back up onto his feet. Daishi was startled and staggered a bit.
Ranma had a cut on his chest, though it was healing quickly, his shirt was nothing but tatters and his breating was a little ragged. He cupped his hands together. "Shinkuu Hadoken!" He then released a powerful vacuum Ki blast that hit Daishi and kept hitting him for six hits until the energy was gone and then Daishi went flying into the wall.
Ranma then fell to one knee and rubbed his chest. "Damn that hurt. Didn't expect something like that. I've got to work on controlling my instincts better."
"Wait, Gothwrain has the Lunar Rave too?!?"
"Yes apparently."
