Yu-gi-Oh, My: Dragons: Tey Rise Again! [Episode 50155]

by Galen, the Last of the First

When a stone is dropped in a pondit creates ripples.

Mihoshi. being Mihoshi, used a rock the size of of a small house where a pebble would have sufficed. Of course that's what you get when you give an enthusiastic, well meaning, accident prone yet incredibly lucky ditz the kind of power to play with that most gods would be jealous of.

All that Ranma had wished was that he no longer turned into a girl. In response Mihoshi rewrote history so that the young Saotome was the reborn version of a dragon god from the Silver Millenium, and now transformed into his 'true' form on contact with cold water. Of course the longer he spent in this form the hotter the water needed to turn him back into a human had to be while all he ever needed would be a cup of luke warm water to return to his draconic form. This pretty much ensured that before to long he would no longer be 'cursed' to become a human at the touch of hot water as his new form would override his old.

However the blonde djinns actions had had several repercutions that she had not been expecting.

In the original time line the various dragons of the Silver Millenium mostly survived the hlolcaust of the Metallia wars and settled down on Earth. However the surviving sorcerors, driven by frustration fear and anger, created a great number of magical weapons specifically designed to kill dragons. Though these weapons were meant only to be used if the dragons became a danger to mankind some humans, beliveing that the dragons were in some way responsible for the catastrophy that had occurred, decided to steal them and begin their use.

The final result of this was the near total extiction of the dragon race.

In the new time line rather than trying to make their homes alongside the humans that reguard them with the humans that reguarded them with fear they chose to place their entire race in a stasis like hibernation that would let them survive until their god returned.

That was another interesting new change, after his ascension all of the dragon races adopted Osiris as their patron deity. Unsure of how else to handle it the new god did as his heart dictated and answered the prayers he deemed worthy and gave aid where he could.

Now, after more than ten millenia of sleep the dragon races were waking up.

It was interesting in a way, somehow human racial memory had somehow remebered the dragons because many of the dragons in Duel Monsters were the spitting image of their true world counterparts.

Buried in deep icebergs that had never been touched by human eyes thousands of white dragons opened thier blue eyes.

In the depths of an active volcano glowing red eyes began to open as legions of black dragons shook the dust of ages from thei forms.

Within the deepest caves of hundreds of mountains red skinned dragons with batlike wings on their arms stirred as the ancient spell that kept them in their sleep broke at last.

In other caves, long hidden by the eternal mist the covered the valley iun which they were housed, great golden dragons thousnds of years old woke from their sllep and shook the dust and cobwebs from their beards.

The age of the dragons had begun once more!

Note: Can you guess which dragon is which? Oh, and before you start mentioning other dragons like Baby Dragon, Curse of Dragon or Black Skull Dragon I'll be including them later.
