How was he going to explain this to anyone?
"Oh, Ryouga. When did you get back?"
Slowly Ryouga raised his head. Kasumi. In her kitchen. Somehow or other he'd done it again and ended up exactly where he didn't want to be. "Uhm."
"So that's how you do that. Man, I didn't realize what a mess your life was."
There was a crash as the mixing bowl in Kasumi's hands hit the floor. "Ranma?"
"Oh, hey, Kasumi. Nice to see you. Your mom says 'Hi'." Ranma's ghost said as he looked around. "Hey, I'd like to stick around and chat, but I gotta do some of this prophesy from beyond the grave stuff. Business, you know."
Kasumi nodded, continuing to stare at the transparent Ranma. She carefully pulled a chair away from the table and sat down. Missing the chair entirely but she was a little frazzled at the moment.
Ranma politely didn't say anything about Kasumi landing on her butt. "Anyway. Here goes. Don't trust Mara, she's bad news and she's real good at twisting things to her advantage."
"Aren't you supposed to make it some rhyme that is deliberately vague and obtuse?" pointed out Kasumi from the floor.
"Aw crap," said Ranma, hitting his forehead with the palm of his hand. "I knew I was forgetting something!"
Kasumi nodded. "And my mother says 'hi'?"
"Yeah. She's one of the valkyries. Says if she gets her hand on Nabiki she's gonna run her ragged. Valkyrie boot camp," said Ranma as he noticed himself fading out. "Aw crap. Out of time already. Hey, P-chan. Get Sif to look at that curse of y..."
"Oh my," said Kasumi before fainting.
Ryouga panicked, running all around the room before realizing that lying on the floor wasn't good for Kasumi. So he'd just pick her up and...
"Kasumi, what's for... dinner..." Akane's voice trailed off as she viewed an unconscious Kasumi being carried by Ryouga.
