"Umm Hi..." The contestant said back, even as the lady stared in shock.
"Why you’re just a child!" She exclaimed.
"I’m old enough!" Huffed the girl, pouting cutely. "Besides I got one of these flyers for the contest!"
The witch blinked, then sighed. "Oh dear. there must have been a mix up...please come inside, I need to figure this out"

A little while later found the young girl calmly sipping tea while the old lady looked up something on a small computer-like device that seemed to be grown out of the wood.
The girl looked around at the house, a odd blend of plant and stone. Some parts seemed to pulse as if it were alive. "This is a nice place Obasama."
The witch glanced back and smiled. "Oh yes, and it so much sturdier than my previous homes. I'm so glad I decided to stop building Gingerbread houses."
The witch paused at the sudden intake of breath, and then continued. "Yes, yes.. I'm THAT witch. And no I'm not going to eat you. Honestly, how could they have thought that? I’m a vegetarian! Those wicked, wicked children. First they eat me out of my house, and then they conspire with that woodcutter I rebuffed to get the townsfolk to drive me out of town so they won’t get in trouble. Even after I helped them with their stomachache... and how does history portray me? As some psychotic cannibal! It’s almost as bad as the bum rap Medea got from the Hellenic people. Although I hear she and her kids did meet this nice American sergeant recently, after someone tried to conquer the Greek mytho-verse...or ur-verse as the conquers called it. Still you think those so called prissy historians would get it right for a change?"
The girl giggled as the old witch ranted about injustice of historians and myths. A second later the computer beeped, interrupting the witch. She quickly glanced back to her computer thingy. "Well I'll be deary, you really are a fiancée contestant. Well it looks like you’re lucky in your youth."
"How so?" The girl asked curiously, enjoying the company of this nice witch. Kind of like a visit to grandma's house.
"Because it’s the fey who sponsored this. The fey value children you know, seeing as how they have so few. Why do you think they take changelings all the time of little kids? You’re pushing it with your age range, but your still in the young child category. That means you'll probably get the lighter side of the transformation challenges.... well unless they trick you into an aging trap or something." The old lady smiled.
"And of course there are your natural abilities you brought into this challenge...."
