Therefore the Angel that had been altered via magic to essentially write an AT virus. The virus would completely derail the "splut"ification of mankind, but whether it was dark or not would be something to consider in terms of relativity.
When Seele did their usual gathering via transmission, the Angel was ready and began its work. Riding the transmission lines it utilized its attack and one after the other of the floating black monoliths disappeared until someone figured out something was wrong and cut the transmission.
Until Seele figured out another method of communication that was absolutely secure, they would be incommunicado. As it was, four of them would take some time getting through their transformations.
The Angel followed transmission lines and struck twice more at what it perceived as centers of human power. Once done it would draw off resources and have an easier time getting to its real target - NERV Central.
Meanwhile though, there were the effects of its previous attacks-
