"Eh? Mom?" a tired voice sounded behind her. Julia's grin dissappeared, her features becoming a cold mask as she recognised the owner of the voice. Brittany.
Brittany looked extremly tired, her eyes were drooping and she was in the middle of surpressing a yawn. Julia took all this in, and figured now was the perfect time to jump her daughter concerning her.... infidelity..
Grabbing Brittany's arm roughly, Julia dragged her into the restroom. Brittany let off a startled "Eep" before Julia shut the door - No one was going to listen in on this conversation. The sound proofed walls would make sure of that.
"Mom! What the hell's gotten into you!" Brittany exclaimed rather loudly, rubbing her arm where her mother had grabbed her. Some times her mother just didn't know her own strength.
Julia gave Brittany a scathing glare, "Well, not Ranma THATS FOR SURE!"
Brittany blinked, trying to decypher the meaning behind those words. Despite still being largly lethargic, she had a sinking feeling in her stomach as to what she meant by those words. "What..what the heck does Ranma have to do with it?"
Julia stepped up to her daughter, and even though Brit was taller than Julia was, she managed to come off as the 'bigger' of the two. "Cut the shit Brittany Elin Diggers." Julia snarled out harshly.
Brit couldn't believe her mother was cursing at her! "What are you..."
*SLAP*
Julia pulled her hand back, her anger over the situation very very clear. "What on all the realms possessed you to sleep with Ranma? To cheat on YOUR HUSBAND!" she screamed near the end.
Brit winced, "I,I,it just ha, happened..."
Julia glowered, "Just happened? IT JUST HAPPENED? What? He was walking along then slipped and stuck his dick in you? How the HELL DOES IT JUST HAPPEN?"
"Calm dow...."
"Calm down? What the hell for Brittany? I just found out my daughters have all been sleeping with the same man. Whats worse, one of em is MARRIED! MARRIED! You understand Brit? Do you have ANY Idea what you've done?!?!?"
"What di.."
Julia threw her hands in the air, ignoring Brit and continuing her tirade. "I'll tell you what you did! Ranma's been changed, its fucking obvious something is messing with him! Not only does he screw the shit out of Brianna, the next fucking day he screws that tramp in MY KITCHEN! He hadn't even known her for one god damn day!"
Brit backed up slowly with each harsh word her mother spoke, trying desperatly to make sense of it all. Something was wrong with Ranma? He's being controlled to act like he was?
"Lets not forget you seducing him! Who knows WHAT DAMAGE you could have done to him in his state?!"
Brit whimpered, now fully against the wall, holding her hand to her chest, and one to her stinging cheek, as she tried to come to terms with what her mother was saying.
It was at this time Gina entered the room. She had only come in to go to the restroom. Seeing Brittany looking on the verge of tears, her own mother scowling and shouting almost incoherently.
"AH.. I'll come back later!" Gina stuttered, already trying to back out of the room.
Julia wouldn't have anything of it. She shouted off "Where the HELL do you think YOU'RE GOING MISSY?!" as she grabbed her by the shirt and foricbly pulled her in the room, slamming the door - This time making sure to lock it.
Pushing Gina towards Brit harshly, Julia glared at the two. "Good of you to join us, daughter. Care to explain yourself?"
Gina was so totally lost and confused she didn't know how to respond. "Whats going on!?!"
Julia glared even more, "Tell me daughter, are you really a nympho? Or just a total SLUT!"
Gina's eyes went the size of saucers! Her mother actually called her a SLUT?!?! What the hell was going on.
Seeing as how Gina wouldn't be saying anything for awhile, Julia rounded back on Brit, "Thought of any convincing lies daughter? Were not leaving this room until you explain how you could betray you're husband!"
Gina's eyes widened, comprehension finally dawning over her. She looked quickly to Brit, who looked very much on the verge.. whoops, nevermind, the tears just started.
Brit just couldn't hold it back anymore, the way Julia spoke to her - spoke ABOUT her hurt farmore than anything she could remember. "He.. he was scared mom!"
Julia blinked... "He was scared? HE WAS SCARED! HE WAS SCARED SO YOU SPREAD YOU'RE LEGS LIKE A CHEAP WHORE?! How the HELL does him being scared justify this?"
Brit cried on, "H,H,hes scared of being alone mom! Th,thats why I did it!"
Gina simply didn't understand, not having been told about that in the slightest. She watched as Julia's face became like stone, no emotions playing across her face. It was her voice on the otherhand that intrigued Gina. It was tight, but tinged with sadness and.. no way... that couldn't be fear?
"W,what are you talking about Brittany?"
"He's scared mom! He's never been alone, never! He always had some one there, his dead beat father, then those loons from Nerima and then us. He's scared to death of being alone! When you locked him in the Gym.. he.. he cried mom! Ranma cried! Because he was alone! I.. I couldn't deny him... I couldn't deny his love... I couldn't..." she whimpered, sliding down to her butt and hugging her knees. Why wouldn't the tears stop?
Gina understood alot of what Brit was saying. She understood deeply why she couldn't deny Ranma's love. Heck, she herself couldn't.
"I.. see.." Julia breathed out slowly.. oh she was still angry, but this situation really hit close to home. "I'm sorry... I called you all those things..."
"Why.. this isn't like you... why... what the hell's wrong with you!" Gina took over this time. From the way brit was holding her cheek, looking completly shock she figured her mother had slapped her - not that she knew for she, but she was willing to take a chance.
Julia's eyes flashed dangerously, "This isn't about me, daughter! This is about you and Brit."
Gina snarled, "Like hell!" she moved up to her, not showing the slightest fear whatsoever. "You think you can come at us, scream, shout, and HIT us?"
Julia winced slightly, trying desperatly to figure out how the hell Gina had taken over the conversation. "Now wai.."
"SHUT UP!" Gina screamed, poking her in the chest, "Where NOT children anymore! What mistakes we make are OURS to deal with, not YOURS! We slept with Ranma! There, we admit it, accept it, and deal with it on our own. Thats our personal lives your barging into. Who. Do. You. Think. You. Are!"
Now Julia was pressed up against the wall, surprised to the extreme at the anger Gina's eyes flashed with as she punctuated each and every word.
Gina snarled yet again, "Now, since you felt the NEED to hurt you're daughter!" she yelled, pointed at Brit, "You're going to tell us what you're problem is!"
Julia shook her head, "I don't have a..."
Gina scowled, "Bull shit. What. Are. You. Afraid. Of!?"
Brit continued sobbing, listening as Gina visciously tore into their mother. This just couldn't get any worse.
Julia stared stone faced at her daughter, fighting the feelings threatening to overwhelm her at this instance. She couldn't.. a single tear broke free, trailing down her cheek as she answered Gina. "Of.. being alone..."
Gina blinked, her anger guttering out at the sight of her mother crying. She was scared of being alone? "Why?" she just had to know!
Julia slid down the wall much like Brit did, hugging her knees to her chest. Now that a single tear had escaped, so too did another... and another.. and another. Like a torrent they began escaping her eyes as she admitted a pain.. a pain so deep she had never voiced it in all these years.. "I was never alone either... growing up.. I had mom and dad... then mom... My father took me to that tournament.. where I met you're father... father had already left me there, all alone, with people I didn't know.. when Theo 'saved' me.. I took it as my chance.. I didn't want to be alone anymore."
Gina kneeled down next to her mother, giving her her utmost attention.
Brit did the same likewise, though she left off a sniffle every now and then.
"Then.. then I was exiled to Jade. It hurt to be seperated from you and Theo.. I wasn't alone though. I had mom, dad too at times.. and the other weaponmasters... As the years went on.. I realized how scared of being alone I really was. Theo, bless his heart still loved me with all his heart. Remained faithful to me.. I still feared.. feared he would find another woman to replace me.. and then I'd be alone truly.."
Julia shuddered, admitting these things that scared her so.. it was taking more out of her than she cared to admit.
Gina and Brit both hugged on to their mother, both offering words of love, kindess, and forgiveness. Today had been one of the worst days in all their lives, but the understanding the three now held for each other was worth it. It would eventually bond them even closer together as a family.
While the three were doing that...
