"Akane is a violent maniac," repeated Kasumi, still under.
Nodoka was about to say something when she noticed Kasumi was half-drowsing and Ranma was shifting in his seat as if... oh my! "It doesn't matter dear. Can you leave me alone with Kasumi for a moment? I just want to check on something."
Ranma was nervous but didn't see a way out of it as he left he snapped his fingers, figuring it worked for stage hypnotists or something. Of course it didn't work here but that wasn't immediately obvious.
Nodoka frowned thoughtfully. "Ranma and Akane aren't getting along any better are they? At this rate I'll be grey haired before there are grandchildren."
"Yes," breathed Kasumi. "Ranma and Akane aren't getting along. No grandchildren."
Nodoka nodded with a glance at the Tendo eldest daughter. "You and Ranma seem to get along. Do you like him, Kasumi?"
"I get along with Ranma," agreed the still-under Kasumi. "I like him? I... I guess I do like him."
"So perhaps the engagement should be switched to you," mused Nodoka out loud, watching Kasumi for signs she had trouble with the idea.
Right now Kasumi wouldn't have trouble with the idea of dancing naked on the roof of the house, but Nodoka didn't know that. "Perhaps the engagement should be switched to me..."
Nodoka's eyes were wide. Apparently she'd been quite wrong about certain things. "Kasumi, you love Ranma?"
"I love Ranma," said Kasumi, smiling a little now. She'd never realized she loved Ranma until now, but now it was so obvious.
Nodoka was astonished. She had had no idea. "Well, this certainly proves that Ranma is manly. Perhaps I'll have grandbabies soon after all."
"Ranma is manly. You'll have grandbabies soon," said Kasumi, realizing her biological clock was ticking and she ought to get busy on that.
Nodoka began to smile. "You're a woman after my own heart. You'll do well, my dear. Feel free to call me 'mother'."
"Call you 'mother'," agreed Kasumi. She was a woman after Nodoka's heart? How odd. She'd never realized it before. Must mean she was kinky.
"I'm glad we had this little chat," said Nodoka. "Well, you have to get busy and so do I."
"Have to get busy," agreed Kasumi, then yawned and stretched. Hmmm? She must have fallen asleep?
