Amia had been warned by Rein and went to work as soon as the fire djinni had spoken of evil magic. "It went on long enough for me to get some basic information. It was an Aleph Class Binding Spell combined with a Reduction spell and something else I wasn't able to get completely."
"Aleph Class? Who would be messing with spells that strong?" Setsunia asked, a little concerned despite having a Master and therefore having resistance to such things.
"Mousse, you are in danger," said Cologne.
"Did I forget some chore?" asked Mousse, interpreting this as a threat.
"Like it or not, you are a member of the tribe, and therefore I need to warn you that there is something stalking magic of all sorts, even your Hidden Weapons style."
"You said something and not someone," noted the usually blind to subtlety martial artist. "This doesn't sound good."
"Whatever it is, it is not a friendly spirit," said Cologne. "I'm telling you this out of duty to a tribesman. I'm telling Shampoo because the danger may strike here and threaten more than just your life."
"Is it Souleater?" Shampoo asked, knowing of ancient legends of the Amazon tribe.
"No. At least I don't think so," admitted Cologne. "This is what the I Ching had to say."
"I've never been able to read those hexagrams," said Mousse.
"Shampoo not know that stuff either."
"Things are moving and not in the usual direction," said Cologne ominously. "We must be wary."
Miyo looked at the spread of cards and gathered them up once more. Then she shuffled three times before putting out a different configuration, only to get the same message and same results.
The fledgling psychic sipped at a glass of water as she considered the message of those cards. "Le Pendu. Le Mort. Le Tower. This can mean only one thing."
Miyo nodded to herself before turning and grabbing her suitcase. "Vacation time."
Happosai's eyes were normally pretty wide. They were slits now.
One of his pairs of stolen panties was now off to the side, the single pair of Wacky Racer panties among his collection.
"Someone will pay for this."
"Everyone has their Sailor Communicators on?" Sailor Pluto asked.
"Sailor Mercury checking in," said Ami as she scanned from the Market. "No sign of Haruka-san."
"Sailor Mars checking in," said Rei. "I'm still checking the shrine area."
"Sailor Moon. Nothing at Naru-san's house. Over. Roger."
"Sailor Neptune. Something is around here but I haven't been able to pinpoint it."
"Use caution, Neptune," advised Pluto. "Sailor Venus? Venus?"
