It was Makoto who realized that something was up after Rei and Michiru spoke of sensing something. "Shouldn't Haruka be back yet?"
"Yes, it does seem odd that she took so long to get milk," Ami agreed.
"Something could have happened to her!" declared Minako.
"Then shouldn't we start looking for her?" asked Usagi.
"Of course we should," replied Rei, "But where do we start?"
"You could always do one of those fire readings, Ami has her computer, and Michiru has her Mirror."
Setsuna nodded. "Then let us begin, shall we?"
With them all in agreement, the Senshi there moved to the room with the sacred fire and began their search. Each looked towards their respective means of scanning and tried hard to use them to find the wayward Haruka. It took a few tense moments of waiting before they got even a glimmer of what was happening.
"Something has her..," Rei intoned.
"Something evil..," murmured Michiru.
"Something powerful..," commented Ami.
"So where is she?" asked Makoto.
"Still close," said Rei.
"Staying still..," Michiru said.
"She is..," Ami began and then looked up suddenly. "Gone."
Makoto stared at her. "What do you mean, 'gone'? You don't mean..."
Turning from her fire, Rei shook her head. "We would have noticed that. This was more of her being there one moment, and vanishing the next."
"What could have happened?" asked Minako.
"It could mean many things. Teleportation, some kind of block to our detection, a change to her..."
"All of which means that we do not know," inserted Setsuna.
Hotaru frowned in concern. "But what do we do then?"
"That is a good question," the Senshi of Time told her while:
