Broken Hearted Cheetah: Call for the Rat Pack [Episode 52816]

by Red Priest of the 17th Order

*CLANG*! *CLANG*!

In there middle of the night, in the center of an unused baskteball court in a back alley of New York City, what looked like a fight was taking place.

*CLANG*! *KRING*!

Already two bloodied forms were down, laying in rapidly growing pools of their own blood.

*KLANK*! *CLANG*!

But still, there were two warriors still fighting. A tall, shirtless, muscular Japanese man, using a 3'10" long katana. The other a short, blonde-furred female wererat, trying to fight back with a 2'6" washizuka. The man seemed to be in perfect condition, yet the wererat had many deep wounds all voer her body. But still, she held her ground.

*CLANG*!

"TOO SLOW!" The man yelled. "Add strength to your quick extensions. Watch my feet for stance shifts. PAY ATTENTION!"

*KLACK-VRING*!

The blonde-furred wererat was pushed back, and fell onto her butt. She too notice of how her sword literally having been sliced in two. The man sneered at her and said, "Nice block."

The blonde-furred wererat growled as she glared at the man. "ZERO! You almost $#@%in' slived me in %$#@ HALF!"

The man, now known as Zero didn't flinch at the wererat's howling and rather course language. "But I did not, Lydia. Which means you Pass... For now..."

Ignoring his groaning and half-dead 'students' all about, Zero walked over to a bench where teh rest of his clothing and other items were were. "That concludes out lesson for tonight, wererats..." Zero resheathed his katana. "Tell your elders I will be expecting my cash payment of one hundred thousand at the usual place. At the usual hour."

Watching to make sure his students got back up, Zero put on his leather coat and hat. "I will admit... You three are the most unique pupils I have ever instructed. Before meeting you, I didn't even know wererats existed. And your abilities make my task much easier..." He allowed a smirk to appear on his face. "Especially your healing abilities."

Zero began to walk away from the alley, commenting as he left. "I seldom have pupils who do not need wooden practice swords..." He stopped as he felt his cell phone vibrate. He stopped and answered it.

Back on the basketball court, a blue-furred male wererat, with so many cuts on him that he looked like hamburger meat, stood. The slash across his throat had healed enough so that it stopped bleeding and he could use his vocal cords again. "Once! Oh, just once I'd like to leave with less than sixty-two fatal wounds!" He cried out. "Must the three of us eternally live in agony!?"

"That's enough @#$%in' drama from you, Romeo!" Lydia yelled. "You are of the warrior caste! SO JUST @#$%IN' SUCK IT UP LIKE MOISHA AND ME!" Looking over her shoulder at the violet-furred wererat, Lydia asked, "Right, Moisha?"

Moisha twirled a elongated tanto in her hand. "Lydia? Girlfriend? Like... Romeo's got a point. This whole schpiel and beat-downs, u'know... It, like, totally sucks."

Lydia glared at Moisha. "Don't you @#$%in' start, Moisha. I'm not in the mood."

Moisha just shrugged her shoulders. "Like, whatevaaah... Let's get sum food, 'kay? I could really use a cheeseburger."

"NO!" Lydia yelled out. "Get the van! We've been training for long enough!"

"S'not what the elders think." Moisha pointed out.

"I don't @#$%in' care what the they think!" Lydia said in a commanding tone. "We're ready now!"

"I'm glad you feel that way." Came Zero's voice as he was now standing directly behind Lydia.

All three wererats practically jumped at Zero's reappearance. "DON'T @#$%IN' DO THAT!!!" Lydia screeched.

Zero smirked. "Well, guess what, my three pupils. I have recieved a phone call, and it seems the 'elders' have use for you."

"Really!?" Lydia asked. "Hot damn! What do they want us to do?"

"It seems you are needed in Japan." Zero said. "It's time to put your training thus far to the test, as you hunt down what will be your greatest challenge."

"Who is it?" Lydia asked.

"If It's a Yakuza boss, can we please leave their sweet daughters alone?" Romeo asked, having watched one-too-many Japanese gangster romance movies

"Very simple." Zero said. "I am to bring you to Japan so that the High Elder can brief you on your mission against this target."

"Like, the High Elder's involved!?" Moisha asked in surprise.

Lydia grinned. If the High Elder was involved, than this mission might make them look like heroes in the eyes of their people. "So, do you know who we're supposed to @#$%in' whack at least?"

"Yes." Zero said. "Your target is a werecheetah."

Silence followed Zero's statement for quite a long while.

Then all hell broke loose.

"@#$&!!! WE'RE NOT @#$%IN' READY FOR THIS!!!" Lydia yelled.

"Oh, good-bye, CRUEL WORLD!!!" Romeo was crying.

"I DON'T WANNA DIE!!!" Moisha whimpered.

Zero sweat-dropped. What the hell was so bad about a werecheetah?
