Ranma's Curse: A Tragic Story (DARK) [Episode 52820]

by Deus_Ex_Machina

A.N. I'm not sure if most people would consider this dark, but I don't want to take any chances.

Jusenkyo. It's a place of magic and legend. It is a place of curses and death. Jusenkyo has a secret, one that nobody knows. Each of its curses is a double curse. The first curse is the shape changing curse, and that is the only part of the curse that has ever been activated by a victim of Jusenkyo. The other part of the curse only activates if the victim ever finds a cure for the first part of the curse (chances of this ever happening are .000000000000000000000000000000000000001 in 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 people cursed) or if a victim ever finds a way of controling the curse (marginally more likely at odds of only .000000000001 in 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000).

The second part of the curse is much worse than the first part, though some would probably disaggree with that (at least until they lived with it for a little while). The second part of the curse is true immortality, meaning it is impossible for the victim to die. Even if every cell in the victims body were turned to ash, the victim would still be conscious as the ash would gather together to reform the body of the curse victim over a course of around a hundred years. There is no cure for the second curse, nor is there rest, as was found out by the first person ever to learn to control the change... Ranma Saotome, god-slayer, occasional demon-killer, and the best martial artist in his generation has just learned what it means to be TRUELY cursed.
