Ryoga tried to explain to Akari why Miss Hinako was currently wrapped around his body making very suggestive motions. At least every time he recovered from the last massive fainting nosebleed enough to be coherent.
What was worse was that someone had been standing on the barrier when Hinako had tried to drain it. That person was now inside the barrier as well.
Cologne explained that sometimes Amazon marriages could have more than one wife, and if the husband was sufficient to the task - well, the barrier would become unstable after one partner was satiated and the other partner was still "raring to go" as it were. In the case of a multiple wife marriage, the husband would be able to perform well enough for both wives however any magical endurance would collapse thereafter. (It was Zeus after all.)
