A golden blur zipped onto the scene, tripped over her own two feet, and crashed into a fruit and vegetable cart at high speed. Covered in pumpkin rinds and banana-peel, the furry feminine form emerging from the wreckage did not look pleased as she posed and announced, "stop where you are! Clowns are meant to make people laugh. For turning a source of entertainment into scary monsters I, Cheetahress Venus, will mfpppf." Wiping cream pie off of her face she glared woozily. "How wode. How dare wou interrupt my speash. Wooo…"
The ring master lowered his cream pie bazooka and sneered. "How absurd. A fight does not wait you to stop flapping your lips. Alright, you clowns, bag her and bring her back to the rings. She'll make an excellent addition to my circus slash petting zoo."
"Oh no you don't. I am Lioness Moon and these are the Edge Guard Senshi. How dare you attack innocent animals with clowns?"
Nodoka recovered her amazement at seeing more werecats and spoke up, "actually these animals are people!"
"Some of the people are also animals," Lioness Moon pointed out as she stared back. "Where did you come from? Why aren't you wearing any clothes? Are you another were-cheetah or what? Are there others? Wow! Mina-chan will be so pleased to meet you. What's your name?"
"We can do introductions later," Nodoka advised, "right now we have to take out these clowns! And watch out for their water."
"Right!" Moon exclaimed and pulled out her weapon. "Lioness Chakra Magic!" The glowing metal ring spun across the market and slashed through the neck of a clown preparing to spritz Venus.
"Good work Moon," a snow wereleopard enthused, "you took the head right off that robot."
"They're robots?" Moon asked as she caught the chakra on the rebound. "Er, yeah, I meant to do that! hehehe…"
"Ah ha," Nodoka exclaimed with understanding as she ripped the head off of another robo clown. "And they must be vulnerable to short circuits too! But you have to get water inside their, er, shorts."
"No problem!" the wereleopard exclaimed as she pirouetted at posed. A cry of "Mercury Blizzard!" unleashed a storm of snow and mist apon the marketplace.
Roboclowns, many with clawmarks across their baggy lothes and pankaked plastic skin, started running around inside the mist crashing into stalls, each other, and any innocent bystander still standing on two feet or four. Cold started freezing up their joints and moisture frizted there motherboards. Some managed to emerge unscathed and charged out of the fog bank, but a cry of "Jupiter Thunder Jaguar", sent claws of lightning raking down apon them.
Cleanup of the robo-clowns proceeded from there, but the ringleader had slipped away in the confussion or, at least, in a minivan.
"Now to heal these cute animals!" Lioness Moon cried and drew a sword. "Moon Healing Excalibre!"
Nodoka suddenly felt turbocharged by lunar energy. She felt stronger, faster, and sleeker than ever before, and positively bursting out with furious power. It was just too, too bad she didn't have a handy target to unleash her lunar rave upon.
Venus recovered from her drugged coma and bounced into a fighting stance, snarling in fury, then surprise. Unlike Nodoka she was merely healed by the lunar energies, having no lunar rave in her bloodline.
The moonlight swept over the rest of the market place, turning all the confussed and injured transformed animals into confussed and healthy transformed animals.
"What? Why didn't it work?" Lioness Moon demanded. "Why are they still transformed."
"Uh. Hot water should change them back," A voice told her. "Hopefully it's only instant spring water. I ah… what the heck are you? You're all c-c-c-c-ats…"
"Werecats, actually," Mercury corrected. "What's wrong with that? So are you?"
"Huh? What? Whoa?" Ranma exclaimed as he took a good look at his new fury self.
