Dark Mist: Hinako Ninomiya: Defender of candy factories everywhere! [Episode 54106]

by Ebiris

Hinako Ninomiya was found in the staff room, her child-like body perched on a swivel chair which was jacked all the way up to allow her to see over the desk. With a frustrated, yet almost too cute little growl, she chewed on the end of her pen as she tried to grade the English tests. School had finished half an hour ago, and she was having a difficult time focusing on the task, especially with the knowledge that Doraemon was on TV right now. But she had pledged herself to the cause of education, and that meant she had to mark these papers before going home.

"Aloha, little wahine! You be workin' hard fo' da big Kahuna's school?"

The little teacher turned at the interruption and pouted at the irritating man. She had half a mind to chi drain him, which would remove the annoyance as well as turn her into her adult form, which could focus on doing her job a lot easier. Still, he was her boss, so it would probably be best not to chi drain him until he did something to really antagonise her. "I'm just finishing with these papers before I go home," she told him in her high pitched voice.

"Eh, dat's nice," said Principal Kuno as he took a seat opposite her. "I be tinkin', you such a good teachah, always tryin' to keep da keiki from gettin' out of line. Dat's why I hire you, to deal wit' delinquents, ya?"

Miss Hinako bunched up her little fists and scowled (cutely, of course). "I hate delinquents! Always causing trouble like that! Are there any delinquents you want me to deal with? School is finished, so if they're still on the grounds you can bet they're up to no good!" With deft motions, she took a coin from her pocket and started twiddling it along her fingers in an idle motion that would be seen as quite threatening by any who knew the nature of her chi draining powers.

Principal Kuno rolled his seat back and waved his hands in a placating gesture. "Oh no, there no delinquents on school right now. But I be havin' a big problem wit' da delinquents at some of my other business..."

"What other business? You're the principal!" Hinako exclaimed brightly.

The Hawaiian obsessed harbinger of evil laughed jovially. "Hahaha, you no be gettin' rich in de education business! I just do dis for my love of all da little keiki. No, the Kuno family's real money comes from... er..." he started sweating nervously as he looked into the innocent and inquisitive eyes of his discipline troubleshooter, "ah... candy factories! I have all of da candy factories around town..."

"Yay!" Miss Hinako threw her hands up into the air and grinned happily at her employer. "I love candy! If you weren't so weird and creepy I'd hug you!"

"Uh... yeah... Anyway, you probably be knowin' dat de teachah's don't make much money, so I be tinkin' that you do an extra job for da big Kahuna? You want to guard the... candy... factories? I be givin' you da very big special bonus fo' dat!"

"Okay!" Hinako nodded eagerly, already thinking of how she might be able to get some free samples.

Kasumi lay awake in bed waiting for the noises of the house to die down. She heard her little sister's distinctive 'stealthy footsteps' as Nabiki returned from the guest room, no doubt having splashed Ranma in order to take a few candid photos. Kasumi wondered if Nabiki even knew how many times Ranma had woken up early in the morning and tried to wash his bedroll in a panicked rush, obviously thinking the wetness had come from another source...

But that was neither here nor there. Waiting a bit longer for Nabiki to go to sleep, Kasumi got up and dressed herself in her leather bodysuit and crimefighting mask. It was time for AraKamen to take to the mean streets of Tokyo once more!

And while she was up, she could take some of the blankets out of the linen closet for airing!

Miss Hinako yawned. It was far too late for a little girl like her to be up! And this 'candy factory' was just a run down, dingy warehouse. She thought it would be a fun, brightly coloured building with smokestacks which belched candyfloss clouds and a river of chocolate and oompa loompas!

Well... that midget tramp rooting through the garbage could pass for an oompa loompa if he was cleaned up a bit...

Deciding to relax her usual standards for 'delinquency', mainly because she really needed a charge right now, she aimed her trusty 5yen coin at the hobo. "Stop stealing rubbish, you delinquent!"

The tramp barely had time to give an incoherent grunt before the cry of "Happo Go-En Satsu!" heralded his being drained of chi, and miss Hinako turned into her adult form.

Now that she was an adult, miss Hinako felt her perceptions of the world change. There was something fishy about this 'candy factory'...
