Ranma hmm'd and turned his head. " Eh? Not really just, in all honesty this was the last thing I expected to happen today."
Asrial frowned and looked at the floor slightly. " I'm sorry..."
" Aw, Asrial don't go blaming yourself. You said this was a dire matter and hell if I had to marry someone because of those circumstances I'm glad its you."
Asrial looked up at Ranma. " Really?"
" Really, look Asrial I can tell this has you as bushwhacked as I am, we'll work this out somehow." Ranma said mentally thinking 'I hope'.
Asrial smiled, then blinked her eyes as she watched Ranma lift up his right arm and stare at his forearm as it began to glow odd designs on bits of his arm. " Wow, when did you learn to do that? You didn't do anything like that at the Dragon Blade Temple."
" Your right I didn't have these back then. I acquired these Artifacts recently."
" Artifacts, as in THE ARTIFACTS from the great Dynasty war?" Asrial asked wide-eyed.
" Yep, turns out there were a few Kryn artifacts of El Dorado buried in the ruins of the outter city. Ya'see the Archon of the Kryn Jalliele'Brea, came to earth with a few of the Kryn from El Dorado, wantin' to salvage some of the stuff left behind for historical posterity. Naturally since they're our pals, Gina, Brianna, and myself volunteer to go help. Britanny and Stripe wanted to go, but Stripe's got work and Brit is off adventuring till she has her baby."
" CHEETAH'S PREGNANT?!" Asrial exclaimed leaned over closer to Ranma, griping the arm rest of her seat.
" Oh yeah, I guess you haven't been informed yet. Yep Brit's pregnant, and is due in a few months." Ranma explained. " Anyway, once there we found a leftover toy of Gyyphon's laying around, some war golem that could manipulate chi, and some magical energies. Brianna tried blasting it and I tried using my ki atatcks, but they didn't hack it. While we're running from the damn thing we stumble across a sealed room and BOOM, we find this battle-set of Artifacts. Being the only able fighter of the group I opted to use em' and since I didn't have time to read a damn manual (not there was one mind you) I asked Archon to seal em inside me like she did Stripe's."
" I heard sealing an Artifact inside someone is painful. Is it?" Asrial inquired.
" Like HELL! But I endured it and well, except fro the multi-functions of the chest armor and helmet piece the bracers and anklets serve as ki-focusing devices giving me 110% ki control, and amplifies my ki a good bit. Suffice to say it was a good thing we found em' cuz they sure made kicking that golem's butt easier. Now unless I'm killed I'm stuck with these Artifacts for life."
" Gosh, sounds like you've been busy recently." Asrial mumured.
" Kinda, that was a month and a half ago, I just spent two weeks training under Julia. So my schedule as of late was training, and I will proudly admit I up'd my skills a good bit." Ranma said with a bit of ego-inflation.
Asrial giggled. " Well we should be reaching the revendious point right about... oh shit."
Ranma looked to where Asrial was looking, and found himself repeating her statement. A slew of Salusian warships formed a nice line around the Jupiter area, their cannons training on them.
" I take it they aren't the welcome commitee..." Ranma gulped.
