[Episode 52807] [Episode 52807]" Ranma, are you sure about this?' Kasumi asks almost pleadingly. " I mean....this is so sudden and...you just came your answer so quickly....are you sure this is right?"
" Kasumi you heard the deal, if Asrial doesn't come back with a husband in less than 48 hours her and her whole family is SOL, and who knows what Chaos might happen if someone tires to take the throne." Ranma retorted, he admitted he did feel a bit rushed but somehow...he felt this was right in any case.
" So you've made up your mind, no changing it at all?' Nabiki asked calmly.
" That's about the gist of it Nabs." Ranma replied, as he double checked he packed everything securely.
Nabiki sighed. " I see...there's no changing your mind, your going/ Alright I accept that, but you better come back and visit us Saotome or I'll REALLY make you pay up those fees you owe me." Nabiki smirked.
Ranma smirked back, grateful she was taking this well. " That's a promise." He saod, standing up and hugging the two Tendo sisters.
Once the hug was broke, Nabiki and Kasumi left, and Akane walked in. Ranma and her just stood their silent, till Ranma walked over and gave her a hug, which she returned.
" Sorry things didn't work out...." He mumured.
" Not totally your fault...." She replied, sniffling a bit.
" Aw Akane don't cry..you know I go to peices when a girl starts crying..especially the cute ones ya uncute tomboy." He said playfully.
" Baka hentai..' She retorted smiling a little.
"..Maybe..another time..another place...we'd be together...but alas fate is not as such."
" Then I can dream of that other place, until I can find another." Akane says softly, nuzzling his chest, enjoying the embrace and his hands gently running up and down her back.
" Your still my friend Akane, maybe things didn't work out one way...but as long as you're still my friend it makes it less painful." Ranma confessed.
" Heh...you can be sweet when your not being baka.." She mumured titling her chin and angling her face.
" Likewise you can be cute when your not being uncute tomboy." Ranma returned as he leaned his head down and gave Akane the kiss she was seeking.
Akane held Ranma tightly this would be her one last time to be with him in such a way...she didn't want to lose it.
The kiss ended moments after, they gave each other one last look deep into the others eyes. In another time, another place in many worlds..they belonged together.
Sadly...not this world.
Ranma picked up his pack and slung it over his shoulder. " I guess this is goodbye huh?"
" Yeah I guess..."
" I promise I'll come back and visit...you have my word." Ranma said as he gave her a final hug.
" You better or I'll come after you with mallet-sama." Akane teased with tears in her eyes.
" Heh alright....goodbye Akane..."
" Goodbye Ranma."
Once again the embrace is broke, and Ranma walked out of the room, down the stairs..and out of the dojo into Asrial's ship. Thye took off for space....unknowing of what troubles and dangers lay in wait.
