"Germany," said Sailor Uranus before remembering that she had a lot of cameras and microphones pointed in her direction. "Oh. Ah. I mean..."
"The next contest will be for the nation of Germany!" Reporters were already going into commentary about Germany, its 357,021 square km of surface area, natural resources (iron ore, coal, potash, timber, lignite, uranium, copper, natural gas, salt, nickel, arable land), environmental problems (high air pollution and acid rain from coal burning utilities and companies, forest damage from coal residue/sulfur, raw sewage and industrial effluents in the rivers of the eastern half, problems with hazardous waste disposal, etc.), population of 83,251,851 people, and so on.
The Germans, of course, hotly denied that they had ever done anything to Sailor Uranus and that she had absolutely no authority to put them up as stakes in a contest.
"Where will the next contest be held? Uranus-san?"
"Uhm. Here in Japan," said Uranus, who had this inkling of disaster should she show her face in Germany. "Home court advantage and all."
"The alien invader has chosen the contest!" A reporter called out. "Looks like next week, the Senshi will be"
