Gendo walked through the hallway, looking at the oak paneling that a group of robots had almost finished lining all the walls with. He smirked as he glanced at the armor plate disappear beneath the next installed panel. "Something else indeed." He commented and picked up his pace, running right into the door that opened just ahead of him.
"OH! I'm sorry!" a woman's voice called. Gendo ignored her to consider himself. His altered body had absorbed the force of the impact, thus taking no damage, but the impact of the door had shocked him enough that he had lost his balance and dropped on his ass. "Here, let me help you up." The woman continued, extending a hand down to him.
"I'm perfectly. . ." Gendo paused as he looked at the brown hared figure leaning toward him. "fine. . . Well I'm not hurt," he commented as he grabbed her extended hand and rose to his feet, "But thank you for. . . being. . ." He blinked, and looked down at his hand which was still grasping the young woman's. "Oh," he commented as he let go and dropped his hand, his cheeks coloring slightly
"Ah. . . Well whether or not I hurt you, I did knock you down." The brown haired woman responded. "I'm Yui Ikari by the way."
"Gendo. Gendo Rokobungi. . ." Noticing that his sunglasses were now dangling from one ear, he reached up, paused a moment, then pulled them off and put them in has jacket pocket.
"Oh right! Doom-Sensei mentioned you, he broke you out of prison, right?"
"Um, yeah, I was framed."
"Say, he mentioned some sort of empowerment for you, but he was a bit busy and didn't really explain it, what can you do now?"
"Ah, Absorb. . . things. . ." Gendo paused and looked around. Then he stepped toward the walls. "Like this." He placed a hand on the oak paneling, and tapped his absorption power. Like a ripple his body turned from flesh to stained and polished wood.
"Wow, can you turn into other things?"
"Prety much anything so far, I haven't had that long. . ."
"Hey, neither have I. Hey, try hitting me." Yui commented.
"H-hit? Are you. . ."
"Hehe, don't worry, I guarantee you won't hurt me." She responded with smirk as the air between her and Gendo shimmered.
Noticing the shimmer, Gendo raised a wooden hand. "Ok, he commented before thrusting it at Yui. A foot away from her it slammed into something, a red hexagon forming briefly around the point his hand had struck.
Yui giggled. "Neat, huh. Doom says that I should be able to shrug off a nuclear blast at ground zero. Not that I want to test that." She added with a slight shudder.
"Doom-Sama?" Mimette's face on the monitor asked.
"Yes?" Doom responded, not bothering to look up from the large machine he was working on.
"Your designing my new body, right?"
"Continue to pester Doom over such triviality's as your bust size, and you risk awakening with the body of a small child."
