"It is quite apparent that your current tactics would have been quite effective against the typical Outsider male of your mother's time, but they are actually harming your cause now."
Shampoo pouted. "But school? Shampoo already know everything she need."
"There are many who would beg to differ," said Cologne. "As a Chinese citizen, enrolling you in a typical school would acquire many problems."
Seeing she wasn't going to get out of this, Shampoo tried another difficulty. "Why you close down Cat Cafe and open this? Cat Cafe always do good business."
"Because it is easier to go with the existing roles that the Japanese would force us into, and work within their framework as opposing it would be a constant fight." Cologne tapped the heavy wooden counter. "Besides, a Chinese Medicine shop gives me the excuse to train you in entirely new techniques and skills."
"Urrrr," growled Shampoo, thinking that Ranma wouldn't come by at all without free food.
"Look at it this way, if you win over the affections of his new daughter, Ranma will follow." Cologne sat back and considered which box to open first.
