Ranma looked into the globe but didn't see anything particularly great about it. "Yeah? What's this?"
"A meditation aid," said the Wizard. "Just have someone look into the depths and they'll find themselves getting much more agreeable."
"Oh?" Ranma thought about that. Yeah, meditation was supposed to help and stuff like that. "Don't seem to do much for me."
The Wizard blinked. Ranma should be going off into a trance. Why wasn't he?
A quick telepathic probe gave him results that made him wince. The boy wasn't naturally dense or stupid, but he was brain damaged!
This was a bit of a quandary. The Wizard would take advantage of children and any number of victims, but someone who was actually crippled was another matter. Hit them when they're down, hit them when they're not looking, but this? This was worse than shooting fish in a barrel. There was no sport in it.
On the other hand, maybe this would work out after all.
The Orb Of Mesmeros had flickering images of male and female. Those who stared into its depths became more and more aroused and would eventually jump the nearest person and frantically make out until exhausted.
If Ranma was himself immune, what of...
"If that doesn't work, try this," the Wizard handed a little pouch of powder to Ranma. "It doesn't work on guys, but if a girl breathes it or drinks it, they won't be angry anymore." Never mind that it was modified mandragora powder and it would turn anyone breathing it into a sexfiend. Not even worth mentioning.
