Brittany still didn't believe just how all this came about, or how she just stumbled across the contract that Genma and her father hand made.
Gina had been working on another project to get another one of her degrees as usual and Brittany had just been doing what she had been as of late, pretty much nothing. It wasn't by choice of course, but the super hero thing that she did with Dani had become a bit dry lately, and not that many people asked her out on dates what with the girl being a seven foot tall lycanthrope most of the time that could turn a person inside out if they ever broke her heart, and they guys who did get the nerve to go out with her quickly ran in terror of Theo's flaming skull.
So when she found the marriage contract on her father's office while looking for his ringing cell phone that he had left there, Brittany jumped at the chance to finally find someone that her dad just couldn't scare off. Later when Theo came home and Gina, who had learned of the contract by now but was hardly interested since this was before her hormone discovery, whenever they questioned him about it the mage would just go off on some bare bones explanation involving a small demonic creature thanks to the help of two other people. After everything was said and done they went out a bar to celebrate, and after a few drinks (or enough to make Dr. Diggers stumbling drunk) Genma engaged his son to one of Theo's daughters in exchange for paying the bill after Soun skipped out on them. Of course later after sobering down Theo realized what he’d done, and just quickly put the contract away, hoping it would never turn up.
Ok, so it wasn't exactly what Brittany would call a match made in Heaven, but it would do for her.
