First off, Britanny had very fair white skin. Ranma didn't see anything wong with that, but the girl shoul have had some tan. She didn't seem like someone to stay indoors and it's not like her whole body could have something covering it in entirety, like a fur coat, 24/7.
Then there was the girl's hair. It was most certainly blonde, but there were alternating dark brown spots in it as well, as if she was trying to dye her hair and had done a horrible job at it. Yet on her... Ranma couldn't explaoin it, but... It somehow just looked natural.
Also, another peculiar aspect were her ears. Ranma had never seen someone who had pointed ears before. But Ranma had to admit that they didn't look bad on Britanny; not in the slightest.
And finally, there were Britanny's eyes. They sparkled like gems and were an almost feral green coloration. The ever so slight feline-like slit to them sent a definite shiver up Ranma's spine.
Ranma came to a conclusion. Overall, Britanny was quite unique, like all his fiancees. Definitely, she was enagged to him because of his father.
Turning ever so slowly to look at his bastard panda father, Ranma asked, "What'd you sell me for now, Pops?"
"Sell you?" Genma asked in mock hurt. "Why Ranma my boy, I can't even believe you'd insinuate such a thing!"
Ranma's eye twitched. "Pops, don't bullshit me now. You've already sold me off a bunch of other times, so just tell me what you did this time!"
Genma started to sweat. "Well... I... Er... What I mean is... LOOK OVER THERE!!!" Genma shouted and pointing. Seeing Ranma and Britanny turn theur heads, Genma grabbed for the fire bucket and up-ended it contents to change him.
"I'm just a cute little panda!" The sign said.
Soun rubbed the side of his head in frustration. "Genma, we switched to sand."
Genma spit out some sand. He was wondering why he felt dryer than usual. He looked and saw that his son was still glaring at him. Hmm... What lie could he feed his ungrateful son, that the boy would believe and get Genma off the hook?
However, before Genma could have the time to come up with anything convincing enough to shift the blame to Ranma, Britanny spoke up. "From what mu understanding is, is that Daddy paid off the bar tab for himself, a Genma Saotome, and a Soun Tendo. In return, Genma engaged his son to me."
All the residents of the Tendo Dojo had their eyes widen at that. They were pretty used to Genma making screw-ups, but for Soun to actually get in on the deal as well?
Then most calmed down. it actually wasn't too unbelievable. Soun was known to pull a Genma every so often. The problems with the Chardin clan were more than enough proof of that.
Ranma's eye twitched in anger. "YOU SOLD ME OFF FOR BOOZE MONEY!?"
Genma chuckled nervously. "Well boy, you gotta understand! It was a joyous time! We had sealed Happosai and we all planned to celebrate as if there was no tomorrow. We didn't have enough money to pay off our bar tab but Theo did."
"Like I said, you sold me off for booze money!" Ranma growled...
Britanny blinked her eyes. She didn't think Ranma would take it this bad. "Well, it could have been worse," She said seriously. "You could have been sold for a single fish."
Britanny shivered as Ranma turned and stared at her with a look of dread. "Did I say something wrong?"
