As she felt the bandits start to move closer, she leapt to her feet and quickly surveyed the rogues' gallery about her. They were mostly harmless, really; most could barely use the short swords they held, and their swords and armor were all in various stages of disrepair. She wouldn't even need her magic for this.
Not even a full minute later, the last of the bandits fell to the ground, groaning around his broken jaw. Akane smirked as she dusted off her hands; the momentary thought that she may have been overly zealous in bandit bashing was quickly dismissed. She'd made sure none of her blows were immediately fatal, and could heal the worst cases with her magic. After they'd suffered for a bit to reflect upon their ways, of course.
She turned to the old merchant who was still standing by his cart. "Are you alright, sir?"
"Y... Yes, m'lady. Thanks to you." He reached around to pull out a reward and offered his meager funds to her.
Akane just smiled, "No, keep it. I need no reward for smashing perverted bandits."
She sent the old merchant on his way and turned around. Most of the thugs had already passed out from the pain. That was when she noticed the swordsman walk into the clearing. He'd obviously been watching her since the fight began, and casually stepped on one of the bandits who had been about to wake. "Wow, you're pretty good. Who are you?"
Akane smiled again, always glad to receive a complement. "I'm Akane Wil Tesla Saillune, Champion of Justice! Who are you?"
