Day by Night: Head Westward: England Arrivals [Episode 55972]

Ranma and I are doing fine in England. I know it is still shocking that someone like Saotome was chosen for a foreign exchange program with a private school in London.

Then again, I’m sure you remember what Principal Kuno was like. You did have that one year with him before he left on sabbatical. So then again, maybe the reason is glaringly obvious.

Anyway, things are going well. Saotome was able to learn the English language on the plane ride here, most likely due to your help with those aids you gave him.

You really are too kind to the bumpkin at times.

Moving on, classes seem to be going well. Though the girls and guys here are not as severe about their wants of photos of Ranma in either form, I was shocked to learn of a few locals who had been formerly stiffing me on their dues.

Really, you would think I would have caught such copyright infringement earlier when I sold those Ranma-chan handkerchiefs. But such is life.

I am doing well in my last year of classes, much to the shock of some low-brow classmates who assumed I would be a ‘happy foreigner’ anxious to explore this new land. I believe they may have watched too many American movies.

I would ask how things are going, but I already have a clue. The dorms were full when we were sent, so they stuck me and Ranma inside a nearby cottage, complete with cable. And thanks to a small part-time job, we even managed satellite.

Yes, I worked. Don’t be so quick to judge me, sister dear.

Even without satellite news, we can guess already what is going on. One or all of Ranma-baby’s interested parties are trying to come here to either keep him company, or do that stuff the low-brow boys thought we wanted to do.

But since Britain seems to be a bit tougher on such things, I doubt the Amazons will be opening a shop here soon. More than likely, they’ll continue to bicker among themselves, waiting for Ranma to write them.

And that is something I bet you’ll badger me about in the next letter as well. I shall tell him, maybe not even for a price.

But do inform the fathers that if Akane sneaks over here illegally and gets caught, she will either be deported or sent to prison. If I know our Daddy, he and Uncle Saotome have already discussed it. And I do hope you understand that a simple apology won’t save her over here. And should she somehow get near us, the very act alone might get us kicked out of here. And just imagine how that will look towards college or future job prospects.

Now do be good and keep them from making a mistake, no matter how romantic they claim it to be.

Don’t worry about the trouble you may have heard that occurred in Cheddar. We were very safe from it, and I doubt such a thing would occur here in London. Give Daddy my best, and I’ll try and call you in the morning (your time) before we go to bed (our time).
