The entire Kuno family had been committed to an insane asylum. With them being locked away and not being allowed visitors, her biggest source of income had gone down the drain. Sure she could sell photos to the rest of the students very easily, but it couldn't even come CLOSE to matching what she had gotten from the Kunos. Without the Kunos, there wasn't enough money to support her family. Even the betting pools on Ranma's many fights weren't helpful since no one bet against Ranma anymore...
So Nabiki decided it was time to get a REAL job. Currently she was on her way to interview for an assistant's job with a private investigator named Shidou.
Arriving at his office, she was surprised when she was invited in before she could even knock. At the desk sat Shidou in proper business attire.
"Um, I'm Nabiki Tendo. I'm here about that job..."
"Can you make good coffee or tea?"
Nabiki blinked. What kind of job interview question was that?? "Well, not as good as my sister Kasumi, but yes."
"Okay. You're hired. You start tomorrow."
