Mar. 13 The journey continues! Life aboard the Red October is tight, but organised. Of particular interest to me are the motivations of our own Agent, as his mind holds.. such stories! Excuse me, had to blush and be mocked by Alucard. I do not mind this, as it is apparently to ward off harsh treatment by the 'cold' types. At least, it does forestall the otherwise inevitable unvoiced command to Heel! I would receive from Mina Harker Malloy.
Before any discourse on our newest, and most.. forgive me.. shocking addition, I should add a note that may get me killed if this is read to my commander. The ironic thing about Mina is not that she mastered her Vampirism from the beginning (unlike myself, since I was always one to grow slowly into roles, downright cautiously I daresay) but rather that niether she nor Integra-Sama realise how very VERY alike they are. I'll go into that one more deeply in another entry tho, should I survive the aforementioned women that long.
The Red October is, as I note, tight, but well-equipped and manned for all that, as its refitting to presumably American top conditions and the removal of its former nuclear launch capabilities left much room for the more compact American submarine systems, a great deal of 'conventional' armament, and added crew/passenger space. Besides, it's actually even bigger than before, according to Capt. Ramius, and his mind confirms this.
Yes. I've been meaning to mention this. I still don't READ minds, as Master can, but seeing what a person is thinking about at the time is relatively easy. Which only adds to the intriguing glimpses of a deeper world than most are prepared to accept--like a Vampiress would doubt that possibility!
One of the Americans that came along for the ride is apparently the American equivalent of Major Bond (Ret.), although he actually boarded when we did. It's not too hard to know why though--the three men that saw him off were of differing nationalities, and we'd considered calling Rainbow in while Hellsing was getting itself back together after that Incognito *mess* (ugh). Again, as this was much on people's minds, I couldn't help but pick up on it.
We're now leaving French waters, with our guest getting over the surprise at Master's survival. Why would this be a shock, you ask? Well, Diary, it seems that when it rains it pours, as our newest recruit knew of Master, and had bought the story of his destruction--much as Mina had done. More on this truly Extraordinary figure later.
