Gatekeepers 1/2: Resident alien [Episode 56886]

As Ranma and his students raced for the Armored Personnel Carrier that was the SWAT-X vehicle, their "resident alien" tagged along.

Earth had become an alien battlefront. While it was mainly fought by humans, that was because humans wanted to remain in charge of their own planet thank you very much. Assistance to AEGIS and the MiB was, very much on the other hand, welcome.

So the number of aliens on Earth was restricted. The Salusian skunk-people were a kingdom that had a small presence in Japan, and slightly larger in America, here because of some ancient tie to the Terran people. The Juraians were another story - having official dominion here as the Earth had been specified an Exile world and 'Non-interference preserve' many centuries ago and off-limits to much of the galaxy.

There were other species represented, mostly by individuals, almost all of whom were certainly spies.

AEGIS tolerated them for two reasons. One: the spies had darn little interest in the "Earthers" except from an anthropologist's viewpoint. They were mainly spying on the other aliens who were running around. Two: they were useful. The official reason for the alien presence - that they wanted to make sure the evil did not spread beyond the Earth, was somewhat correct. As was the popularist reason - that the aliens simply were simply making sure that other aliens didn't take over and engaging in restricted trade. That Earth was considered a Jurai colony hadn't become public knowledge yet.
