Kachoo: The New German Republic [Episode 57081]

by Kestral

The German authorities lodged a protest immediately. They would absolutely not vacate their buildings. Riots and looting began.

This went on for two hours before Kachoo reluctantly decided that the children needed discipline.

Crowds began to vanish. If they were guilty of looting or just standing around and watching it, if their demonstration was just coincidental with a riot - it didn't matter. The streets began to empty and as word got around they started to empty even faster.

Kachoo sent a notice that if the main government and police officials did not want to be replaced, they would stand aside. Both groups argued and yelled and carried on, to which Kachoo merely shrugged and flicked a mental switch.

Again the lesson taught to North Korea went into effect.

Beams similar to a "Star Trek" transporter caused matter to break up and reassemble, ultra-fast computers determining what the pieces corresponded to and what their new form would be.

It occurred fast enough that someone sitting in their chair would notice a brief sensation of everything "white-ing out" before it was all back in place, though changed.

Unlike North Korea, there was no time inversion and things did not revert to a technology of centuries past. Instead there were the Alexandrian soldiers (the blonde policegirls) and the Heavy Arms (the big cyborgs) and the Golems being put in place. Roads were replaced, buildings rearranged, explosives and weapons were removed.

The nine representitives of Germany who had lost found themselves returning to a Germany that had already become occupied and was being rebuilt.

"So we lost," said Haruka. "We've still got a chance."

"We're not letting you out until the terms have been set this time," said Michiru, leaning against the door.

"Now I'll never be married," sniffled Minako as the TV replayed her bikini coming apart in the mud. Sure her face was mainly concealed in mud. Right now she was emoting.

"I just hope my old sempai didn't see this," grumbled Makoto.

"I think I've still got some mud in my ear," complained Rei.

"I've got a strategy though! I know where we went wrong!" Haruka explained.

"Ami is setting up the terms now," said Michiru. "We'll wait for the results."

Ami gulped. How had it come to this?

"Very well, the next contest will be a battle for the continent of Africa. The contest: a game of chess. The arena: the Spottled Zebra Bar in Cape Town!"

Ami nodded. "None of your underlings, just you versus myself."

"A bold move! Done!" Kachoo agreed.
